After attending Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Steve went on to receive an undergraduate degree in art from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.  Raising a family in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada he has spent the last couple of decades as a commercial banker but has always found time to paint, draw and photograph.  He has had the privilege of taking classes under Zoltan Szabo, Paul George, Margaret M. Martin and many other well known watercolor artists.  His paintings and limited edition prints are found in private and corporate collections in Canada and the U.S.  He is also an avid wildlife and bird photographer, travelling throughout North America to take photos of everything from Grizzly bears to Williamson Sapsuckers.
